Welcome to St John the Evangelist, an Anglican church serving the growing village of Hurst Green. At St John's, people gather for worship, friendship and to enjoy a range of activities together for all ages. We also serve the local community, supporting and caring for local people. Prayer of the week

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
