Missions and Charities 

At St John's we try to be a church without walls, looking beyond the building to reach out to the needs of the community and wider world with God's generous love and compassion.

Our vision sets out our immediate aims but in addition St John's supports the Diocesan link with Zimbabwe and raises money for various charities through special events and services each year. For example, 'Send a Cow' at Harvest; the Big Brekkie for 'Christian Aid' after a service in May; and the 'Children's Society' at Christingle services and carol singing near Christmas.
